Good Things {Newborn Photography Seattle Tacoma Puyallup}
We have all heard it…”Good things come to those that wait.” One of those ageless phrases that mothers since the beginning of time have been dutifully teaching their children. No one knows just how true this statement is than a mother. After years of having it told to her often with a wagging finger involved, a woman finally understands its significance when her first baby arrives after nine months of pregnancy. In a society which prizes instant gratification, and there is little that has to be waited for (except perhaps degrees, jobs and financial success), having to wait nine months for something can seem like an eternity. Especially if you are sick, your body is aching and you can’t get a restful nights sleep for the life of you. But truly, just as the age old saying says, good things come to those that wait. Nine months seems like such a short time to endure to have in your hands your tiny offspring.
Meet Knox. He is the living, breathing, sweetly smiling proof that good things come to those that wait. I bet if you asked his mother right now if 9 months was an unreasonable amount of time to wait for her new son she would look at you incredulously. Because she would have waited for years, I am sure – as some mothers do, to hold in her arms a baby. It was such an honor to be a part of Knox’s beginnings. I know I am very blessed to have held him and soothed him so that these priceless portraits could be possible. I know you don’t need to hear me say it again…..Good things come….
