Sign of perfection

Each tiny toe, soft and tender

So, so kissable.

Tender, tiny toes

beckon Mom and draw her near

she can not resist.

They will not stay small

with the seasons they will change

but she’ll remember.

Holding them to her face

touching each one to her lips

her baby always.
