With the addition of Austen I have now photographed three beautiful boys for the wonderful family. What a blessing three strong, healthy and handsome sons are. My oldest was a boy and no matter how hard I prayed for another son so that he could have a brother, I was sent three three wonderful daughters. Sons have a special love for their mothers. I know that these three boys will be great sources of happiness for their mother. Austen’s parents came to me for newborn photography with their first in 2102. For five years now I have been photographing their precious babies. I was so happy when they sent me a message letting me know they were expecting another baby. They are such a wonderful family to work with and their boys have such excellent manners. I really wanted to focus on the connection of these three little men and their brotherhood at Austen’s newborn session. I planned on lots of great sibling shots, knowing that these boys would be very cooperative. I am so excited to be able to share these beautiful portraits with their parents! I hope the sneak peek is timed perfectly since mother’s day is right around the corner!

Rohan, a name meaning ascending. Makes me think about all the wonderful things that will be in this little boy’s future. As a Seattle newborn photographer sometimes I wonder if I will ever see one of the little babies I have photographed become someone that makes a true difference in our world. Will he be an inventor, cure cancer, win a Nobel peace prize, be the President? Likely no, but you never know. What I do hope, for Rohan and every other little person I have met over the last seven years, is that he becomes a wonderful human being. Conscientious, caring, thoughtful, wise and happy. To be a great man is the hope and dream I share with him. His family will play a significant role in helping to shape him towards those ends. And after meeting them for a few hours during this little guy’s portrait session I think they are more than up for the job. I meet the neatest people in my line of work. It is one of the things I love most about being a newborn photographer.
Rohan was such a good little muffin and his big brother was the best listener. He was so attentive to his little brother’s needs. I am so happy that I am able to share so beautiful images of these two handsome boys together.

Little Isabella is a big sister! Her family hired me a few years ago to be her Seattle newborn photographer and just last week I got to meet her brand new baby brother. Meet Elias! Both he and his sister are the cutest little babies. I think it is in part to their full heads of perfect hair. Poor mommy had some serious heart burn with her newest little muffin. He is the handsomest little chunk. I am so glad that he was born before I left for Spring break vacation! Elias’s newborn portraits turned out perfectly. In part to his mommies wonderful color selections for his session. I love this taupe brown and grey together and it compliments his beautiful skin so perfectly. Isabella was a little unsure about being back in the studio and probably still a little unsure of her brand new baby brother. She was super sweet, just a little shy. Mom had brought some snacks along and like always they saved the day! Sacks are the best, I think we would all agree. I am super excited to share this little sneak peek with his family and to get Elias’s newborn portraits all packaged up and sent to his sweet family.

Ava’s family has been coming to see me for newborn photography for three babies. I feel like a part of the family, just a little bit. I am always so happy to see these cute kids. Their family has been blessed with two healthy, happy and handsome boys. And know they have their princess. They are going to be such great big brother. She is going to make her family so so happy. I remember the day I opened my messages to find out that mommy was expecting their last baby and it was a GIRL! Every family should have a daughter! I am a firm believer because I know first hand, with three daughters of my own, how much joy and happiness they bring to a family. Because Ava came to see me for her newborn session a week before Easter I had to have a little seasonal fun with her. I am holding her little Easter portrait hostage until tomorrow. She is the cutest thing! And her brothers love her to pieces!

When being a Tacoma baby photographer means you get to take portraits of the cutest little kids in Washington you can be sure that it is a pretty sweet job. You guys this is Jonas and he needs a modeling contact like, right now! He is the cutest and sweetest little muffin in the history of EVER! Seriously as I was editing his session all three of my girls were going bonkers over him. His cutest skills are top notch. His sweet mommy wanted me to make sure to take pictures of him that would capture his beautiful blue eyes. Personally I was swooning over his poutty lips and that little blond curl on his forehead. Jonas was a little timid of the camera and wanted to be right by his mommy. But with a little extra time and some tender loving care I was able to coax him to the sets. I can’t tell you how many times fruit puffs save a session. When I included snacks in your session prep guides it is because I can’t count the times that snacks have saved the day. Jonas has grown so much since he came to see me for his newborn session. It was so wonderful to see him and his wonderful mommy again. He came to see me right around the time that I am working on Easter mini pictures and I wanted to do something extra special for his family. I can’t wait to share this little bonus Easter portrait that I put together with his family. Every single day I am reminded by how very amazing my clients are! I am so grateful to have such a class act photography family. It feels good to do special things for my clients in return. What do you think? Think his mommy is going to love these?
