Has it been a year already? Time is a mother’s worst enemy I swear it. There is either not enough time, or too much time and all the while it is moving either too fast too slow. Time is a foe we battle against all our lives. Wasn’t it just yesterday that I was photographing little Bradley as a newborn baby?
Oh my goodness, he was the cutest, squishiest, most perfect newborn ever. And just now he was in my studio with a birthday cake? How does that happen? Things change so fast. In just the space of a year Bradley has become an independent little toddler. Gasp! Next thing you know he will be starting Kindergarten! Time is now ally of motherhood. That much I know for certain. Can’t they just stay our babies just a little bit longer. Motherhood is such a hard job, is it too much to ask to hold that perfect bundle just a little bit longer?
I am so glad to have wonderful clients that love their children and want to treasure their baby moments forever. Baby portraits it would seem, paired with the memories they stimulate are the only way we have of cheating time. Because these pictures will always be there and according to them, Bradley is his mommy’s baby forever and ever and ever!
Happy Birthday little man!
Samuel was my last session of 2015. I took the last few weeks of December off and so I am just know getting to blogging the sneak peek from this Puyallup baby photography session. But rest assured that his Mommy and Daddy had these perfect Christmas portraits of him before Christmas time! He was the most perfect little Santa baby. He fit right in with Clement Moore’s Santa from Twa’s the Night Before Christmas. Look at the drool little mouth, those rosy cheeks, and I can assure you his belly shakes like a bowl full of jelly! I just love the mischievous twinkle in his eyes too! Samuel’s Puyallup baby photography session was half Christmas and half a little bit of everything else. He has rolls for days, so I knew I wanted a great shot of him naked with his blanket. His adorable big brother was very concerned about his baby brothers privacy. I am so happy to wrap up a wonderful year with an awesome session for this little man. Can’t wait to see him back in a few months for a cake smash!
When all one has to do is live,
Life takes on an easiness.
That little blurb about babyhood is not an original thought by me. I heard it once somewhere and it was so profound it stuck with me. How easy it is to be a baby. All your needs are met the moment they become a need. Everyone loves you. You have no enemies, no responsibilities, no worries. Life is full of people that love you things to explore and learn, toys to mesmerize and sleep. Sleep maybe be the best of all of those blessings. Oh to be a baby…or a cat. Cats have it pretty good too.
If you are looking for a Seattle newborn photographer, I hope your search stops here. May these beautiful images of perfectly sweet Aleyna convince you that hiring a professional baby photographer to capture the perfection and innocence of your new baby is the best gift you can give yourself. I love it when mom’s make that choice. Portraits with the right photographer is something you will never regret. Aleyna’s mom showed me the picture that they had taken in the hospital by the photographer that came to their room and spent a minute or two with their brand new daughter. It looked like a mug shot. Her mom looked up from her phone at me and said, she is such a beautiful baby, why would they give me a picture of her making a grumpy face. Fortunately she already had a session with me scheduled. I hope it brought her peace of mind to know that soon she would have the images that she wanted. Baby’s just need time and tender loving care and they will reward you with stunning newborn portraits to remember them by forever. I am so excited to be finishing up Aleyna’s newborn session. Her parents will get her images right in time for some last minute gift giving. Merry Christmas.
angela - So cute, the light is perfect! Love seeing how much he has grown!
Jessica - Such beautiful portraits and I completely agree, time is a mother’s worst enemy. It goes by so very quickly. Luckily, this family has these beautiful images to stop time for just a bit.
