“Big Brother”
My little eyes
are watching
All you say and do
And when I grow up
big and tall
I want to be like you.
My little ears
are listening
To everything you say
I am learning how
to grow up
To be like you
someday.
So be careful how
you teach me
To be the person
that you are.
You’re a knight in
shining armor
You’re my brightest
shining star.
My favorite part of Dash’s baby photography session are the images that I took with him and his big brother Krew. These two boys are adorable together. Krew was the very best little helper. He did everything I asked him to and was so gentle with his little brother. What a lucky family. I am so glad that these two boys will have each other growing up. More and more I have become convinced that boys need brothers and girls need sisters. The world just doesn’t seem to work as well when that doesn’t happen in a family. I can see these two pranking their parents, creating lego castles, throwing a football to each other and so much more. They will be each other’s wingman for the rest of their lives. I am so grateful to have been the newborn photographer for both of these very handsome little boys. Life is good when you are surrounded by people that love you, a happy family and beautiful healthy babies. Congrats to this really awesome family!
This little angel was such a little angel. She was little and dainty, but with just the right amount of baby chub to look perfect in her newborn portraits. Her parents hired me to be her Auburn baby photographer. I always feel very privileged to be a part of celebrating the arrival of a newborn. The day was just perfect too. It was right before the heat wave struck and it was perfect weather for an outdoors portrait of this sweet baby girl. One of the benefits of hiring me to be your baby photographer is that if the weather is good we can get beautiful outdoor portraits of your baby just by stepping outside into my yard. We don’t have to take a separate trip with your baby, adding time to your session. It is as simple as taking a few steps into my park like yard. That is a little perk of coming to a newborn photographer who’s hobby is landscaping. Outdoor portraits are tricky things it can’t be cold and it can’t be too hot either. The trickiest thing is finding the perfect spot where the lighting is just right to create that perfect picture of your baby. One of these days my family will be relocating to Gig Harbor and the idea of having to start over again creating a beautiful yard is daunting and very overwhelming. For now though I get to enjoy it and it will live on through my portraits of brand new baby girls and boys.
If you want to capture the innocence of your newborn and the perfect moments of bringing home your brand new baby please contact me for details about a portrait session by clinking on the contact tab of my website. Golden slumbers kiss your eyes,
Smiles await you when you rise.
Sleep,
Pretty baby,
Do not cry,
And I will sing a lullaby.
Cares you know not,
Therefore sleep,
While over you a watch I’ll keep.
Sleep,
Pretty darling,
Do not cry,
And I will sing a lullaby.
As a Puyallup baby photograph I get to meet lots of babies. Often times I wonder about their futures. When I am an old lady sitting in a rocking chair glued to my television I hope to see some of them someday making a difference in the world. Maybe one of my newborn portraits will be used to show a then and now. Wouldn’t that be funny. I can just imagine. “Announcing that Jayden Su has just won the presidential election. And here he is a little baby…” Maybe the images I take will play during wedding slideshows. Maybe they will appear in yearbooks. It just makes me so happy that I get to capture a baby’s first year and milestones for their families. I have taken lots of baby pictures for the Su family over the last few years. They are a wonderful part of my photography family. Jayden is so full of smiles and has such a melow, sweet disposition I am sure that he is going to have a wonderful future because he will make friends easily. I always hope that I will be able to stay in touch with families as time goes by. Who knows maybe one day I will be checking out at Safeway and the handsome teenage boy helping me bag my groceries will have a nametag saying Jayden Su, and I will be able to smile at him and say…”hey, I took your baby pictures.” That would make my day. For now though it makes me happy enough to share his baby portraits with you.
