I am so exciting to be sharing an image from a recent Puyallup Maternity Photography session. This gorgeous mother-to-be is my first maternity session of 2015. She was radiant. There is lots and lots of truth to the saying that women have a glow about them when they are pregnant. Here is the proof. Isn’t she just radiating with that I’m-about-to-be-a-mom sentiment. It makes her more beautiful if that is even possible. It brings me so much joy to create beautiful portraits for women while in the primes of their life. Not only am I selling fine art. I sell empowerment.
One of my favorite games to play with babies when they come for their baby photography session is the So Big game. I played it with my own children. It is a right of passage for a toddler to learn to raise her hands up above her head, lol. I love that it almost always gets baby to smile, or in Ella’s case smirk. I miss having a toddler to play baby games with! I am so fortunate that families will come from Bellevue to let me photograph their little ones. It is the only way I am able to keep baby fever at bay!
I am so thankful to be a part of celebrating a baby’s first year with a birthday photography session. Being a baby photographer brings me so much joy. Capturing a baby’s first milestone moments for a family is such an honor. Thank you to Ella’s family for choosing me to be your photographer. What a pleasure it has been to photograph your three babies!!

Golden slumbers kiss your eyes,
Smiles awake you when you rise:
Sleep, pretty darling, do not cry,
And I will sing a lullaby.

Little boy blue
Little boy blue, come blow your horn,
The sheep’s in the meadow, the cows in the corn
Where is the boy who looks after the sheep?
He’s under the haystack, fast asleep.

This is the last of my teddy bear series from last week. I had so much fun using my little collection to capture baby hood for all of these cute little people this week.
My Teddy Bear is a faithful friend
You can pick him up and either end
His fur is the color of breakfast toast
And he’s always there When you need him the most!
