One of the things I love about being a newborn photographer is that I get to capture beginnings.  Babies are such a fresh start.  They reinvent your relationships with others.  They turn couples into families and small families into bigger families.  What I love about the magic that babies add is that it is never a subtraction change.  They don’t take away, they add.  They bring more joy, more happiness more fulfillment.  Babies are the sugar in life.  When styling Danica’s session I wanted to use this rosette blanket.  She was my second to last Spring baby.  Spring has so many beautiful symbols: flowers, bright green growth on the trees, freshness in the air, and babies everywhere.  I hope that when her mother and father look at this portrait in the future they will always remember a very special Spring.  A Spring that brought them a fresh beginning, a time to reinvent their family and to celebrate becoming something truly special and monumental – a mother and a father.
