I love it when I get to have newborn clients come back to the studio for baby milestone sessions.  I’m not going to lie the “Sitting” stage is my very favorite.  It is my favorite to photograph and it was my favorite stage as a mother with my own children.  I just love this phase of budding personality and expression.  It sure is great too when these little people aren’t mobile yet.  Makes it so much easier than their one year sessions when we sometimes are chasing them all over my little home studio.  Those birthday sessions can be a serious work out, lol.  But sitting sessions are sweet and I just love that.  Solianna was super easy going about being around a strange lady with a giant black box  in front of her face.  We even got some sweet little grins.  I love her curls.  It was super sweet that her Daddy’s outfit choice for her was a “looking sharp” t-shirt.  I love parents that teach from infancy their kids to value education and wisdom.  She is going to need it if she is going to fulfill the Halloween costume dream of being an astronaut.  Go get ’em Solianna!  My favorite image from her session is of course the monochrome fall themed shot with the pumpkins.  I just love sets like this.  It is so awesome to build sets around the seasons that are still classic and not cheesy.  Which one is your favorite?
